CANDLE CARE
Maximize your candles longevity, prioritize safety and create a serene ambiance with proper candle care techniques.
-
1st burn is MOST important!
It is very important to burn your candle for 4 hours on the 1st burn. This prevents tunneling, and ensures the candle burns evenly.
-
Burn within sight
Burn your candle in sight at all times!
Always place candle on a temperature safe surface away from flammable materials.
Keep candles and melts away from children and pets!
-
Burn Times
We recommend burn times between 2-4 hours (4 hrs best). 5 hours maximum. Longer burn times result in black soot residue on the vessel edges, excessive heating of the container, and a reduced overall lifespan of your candle.
-
Trim your Wicks
Trim your wick before each and every burn to 1/4 inch to avoid soot on edges and ensure a clean safe burn.
-
AVOID
Avoid burning candle near drafts, blowing vents or under ceiling fans.
Do not use the lid to extinguish your candle as it will burn the lid and trap the smoke smell into the candle wax.
-
Storage
Store candles and melts in a cool dark place to prevent discoloring.
Store with lid on to keep clear of dust and retain fragrance.
-
Signature Vessels
We strongly recommend using wick cutters for this vessel. Scissors will not easily fit in the top of the vessel to allow for proper wick trimming between burns.
-
Lighting candles
We highly recommend using matches or an electric rechargeable lighter without an open flame. Conventional lighters can leave unsightly black burn marks on both the vessel's edge and within the wax.
-
Crystal Candles
For safety reasons, it is advisable to remove large crystals and metal embellishments from our candles before burning.
