Shipping policy
SUMMER SHIPPING DISCLAIMER — MAY THROUGH AUGUST
During the summer months, we ship orders only on Mondays and Tuesdays to avoid extended exposure to heat during transit, especially over weekends.
Temperature Monitoring
Please monitor your package tracking carefully during hot weather. We recommend retrieving your package from your mailbox as soon as possible to prevent heat damage. In cases of extreme heat, your order may be delayed until the following week. We will notify you by email if this occurs.
Processing Time
Under normal conditions, processing time for orders is 1 to 5 business days.
Heat-Related Concerns
Scententions is not liable for orders left in mailboxes or exposed to direct sunlight that may cause candle “sweat” or melting. Customers are responsible for monitoring arrival dates and retrieving packages promptly. We recommend shipping to an office or workplace if you are not home during the day.
Candle Care
During warmer months, it is normal to find some liquid droplets on the top of your candle. Simply dab them off before lighting for optimal performance.
Lost or Stolen Packages
Customers are responsible for contacting the shipping carrier for lost, stolen, or missing packages and initiating any postal claims for damages during transit.
